Distance education is my passion. I have been an online student, teacher, and instructional designer, and I value the opportunities afforded to me during my time spent in each of these roles. I am interested in studying all aspects of online teaching and learning. Some of my topics of interest include instructional design for online learning, student success factors in online education, and quality in online education. I have spent more than 20 years working in corporate america in technical writing, instructional design, and information technology. I am interested in instructional design and delivery of all types of corporate training and performance support solutions. My dream job would be a position that combines my corporate experience with my passion for academia.
My short-term goals are to become more engaged in the professional organizations that have helped me in my career thus far. I'm also exploring new professional organizations that will help shape my future.
